He was an integral part of Azuka Theatre since its inaugural production, \u201cLa Rue des Faux,\u201d and has directed 21 productions for the company, including 11 world premieres such as \u201cMrs. Harrison,\u201d \u201cShitheads,\u201d \u201cLights Rise on Grace,\u201d \u201cMoon Cave,\u201d and \u201cPookie Goes Grenading.\u201d His direction of the musical \u201cHedwig and the Angry Inch\u201d earned him a Barrymore Award nomination for Best Director and recognition as Best Director of a Musical by Philadelphia Weekly.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Beyond Azuka Theatre, Kevin has directed \u201cSay Goodnight, Gracie\u201d at Act II Playhouse, \u201cIron Kisses\u201d for the Philadelphia Gay and Lesbian Theater Festival, and \u201cThe Shoes\u201d at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. At Arcadia University, where he serves as an adjunct professor, his directing credits include \u201cThe Rocky Horror Show,\u201d \u201cClub California,\u201d \u201cProof,\u201d \u201cThe Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon,\u201d \u201cSpeech and Debate,\u201d and \u201cCrimes of the Heart.\u201d<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Kevin\u2019s leadership extends to his role as Board President for Theatre Philadelphia, the organization responsible for the Barrymore Awards, Philadelphia\u2019s professional theater awards program. He is also a member of Lincoln Center\u2019s Directors Lab and has participated in the La MaMa Umbria International Symposium for Directors and the International Playwrights Retreat.
